Now Lets go ahead and see the next step for blogging.
Now we will see which blogging platform you should choose. For me there are only two sites that I recommend, first is Blogger and second is Wordpress. Now its up to you to choose whichever you want.
Now let me tell you this.
Blogger is good for people with basic needs and lots and lots of plug-ins and tutorials. Bloggers I would say is mostly for starters. And I would really prefer to go for blogger is I am a starter and Don't know much about HTML and Other web designing Stuff. Its is very user friendly, Easy to set up and get started on the very spot site.
Wordpress is also a good site but for people with little or more experience about blogging and HTML stuff.
Wordpress is also a great site if you have little experience about blogging. It is more SEO friendly then Blogger is And has in built Pinging software. So that every time you update you blog search Engines are notified about it. Though it is not as user friendly as blogger is but eventually if you start with Wordpress you might have trouble but later on you can rip the benefits.
All in all Both of them are a Great Site and Great site to Start Your blogging Venture.
Now After You have chosen which site to go with. Register there and Give your blog A title and lets get started with it.
Now remember Blog is something about writing down everyday or at least every alternate day.
These are some rules you should Always remember.
Rule #1 - Content is king And Readers are Judges !!
Now you should know that your content is king but eventually readers/visitors are the one to judge. I have seen some contents so good and appreciated by many people but some people say that the content was completely bullshit and useless. In one of my friends Blog I read that He considers Darren Rowse's (one of the most famous blogger) Book "31 days to become a better blogger" A completely useless and waste of money. Now every visitors have their mind set on something. You cannot please each and everyone but that doesn't mean you should please no one. Target majority and and the minority as well, write something for both the parties. Rule #2 - Write about your views and don't fake it !!
Write what you think is right and never ever try to fake it. It wont last much. When readers come to know you are faking it, they would abandon your blog and find some better one to go and spend their time on. Try and write what you feel is right. Honesty is always the best Policy. Share your views with your readers and be more communicative. This will drive more and more readers and will make the reader come to your blog more often.
Rule #3 - Regularity !!
Now If you blog once a week or month No ones going to visit your blog on regular bases. The more regular you are say every twice or thrice a week or even every alternate days. So readers will know that you are updating your blog on regular bases and they will visit it on regular bases as well. You should keep updating your blog, thats what blogs all about right. So keep blogging every day also if you like. The more you blog the better you will get.
